Understanding must become action.
The test of a smarter humanity is what it makes possible for life. Knowing more is where that starts, not where it finishes.
It is possible to do everything in the first six articles and have nothing to show for it. Guard your attention, update your beliefs, practice every day, keep your bearings, do your own thinking, argue well with good people, and still be someone whose understanding never leaves their head.
The last article is a guard against that. Understanding is a means. The measure of a smarter person, or a smarter species, is what that understanding makes possible for the life around it: the problem that got solved, the thing that got built, the person who got help, the harm that got prevented because someone saw it coming.
This is also the test for Novism itself. If the gatherings produce nothing but better conversations, they have failed by their own standard. The practices, gatherings, and tools all have to answer the question the front page asks, which is whether they help people think better and live more deliberately, and then the question this article adds: what did anyone do with it?
